Indian Rocks Beach is a very popular gulf coast community. This peninsula which is about 3 miles long is bordered by Sand Key to the north and Indian Shores to its south. It is popular among both tourists and locals who make it a point to “go to the beach”. Besides the wide, beautiful white sandy beaches with 27 beach access points, IRB as it is commonly known, has many notable restaurants, and most have outdoor and indoor seating. From seafood to soul and pub to posh, Indian Rocks has it all. Access to IRB is easy from the Walsingham Bridge which ends at 1st Avenue and Gulf Blvd. On the mainland there are the usual grocery stores, pharmacies and various small businesses nearby. Further east about 4 miles you can shop at the Largo Mall, Lowes, Home Depot and also go to the newly renovated movie theater with reclining seats.
